Today, there is one exception to the “you must be an undergraduate” rule. To have a teaching certificate you must work on a post-baccalaureate program.

- You must go to your university’s financial aid office and apply for all the government financial aid. But you can rarely apply.
- Then fill out forms specifically for the Pell Grant forms
- Be sure that you specifically state that you are working towards a certificate that you are going to teach after you finished the program
- To avoid your money to be revoked be sure to indicate on the form that you are already have a bachelor’s degree
After all this are done you can follow up via website for your financial aid application. There you will see if your Pell Grant is approved or not. For sure, your grant for Master’s degree will be granted if you follow each and every instruction.
